Selected Benefits, Inc. is proud to announce that we have revamped not only our website, but also our product offerings.

To be specific, we are focusing a little more on Texas Medicare Supplement insurance than we have in the past. Since we’ve been serving the Texas community for over 14 years, many of our clients have aged out of the under 65 Texas health insurance market and are in need of some solid choices for their Medicare Supplement policies. We’ve added many new carriers including BCBS of Texas, Aetna, Mutual of Omaha, United Health, Cigna and Humana. Since we always try to offer the most recognized insurance carriers in the State of Texas, most of these companies should sound familiar.

We can also help you enroll in Medicare Parts A and B along with Part D which is the prescription drug portion of Medicare. If you’d like a quote on one of our new Texas Medicare Supplement plans, just fill out the Medicare Supplement request a quote form on our new website.

The second part of our transition is going to shift focus a little more toward the Texas Group Health Insurance market. Since the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was passed in 2010, health insurance for both individuals and families has progressively become more expensive while offering fewer benefits along the way. The primary compliant from our clients was that their preferred doctors and hospitals were dropped from the new plan networks. In the ensuing years since 2010, it has only become worse. The solution is a small group health insurance plan. While we don’t service the entire country, in Texas, an employer small group plan will generally solve this issue.

The small and large employer group plans offer all of the PPO networks which our customers have become accustomed to in years past. Also, the employer group insurance market offers almost an unlimited number of plan combinations compared to only a smattering of offerings in the individual marketplace. The only catch is you need to have an entity such as a corporation or partnership which has at least two employees. If that’s how your business is structured, then just fill out our Employer Group Health Insurance request form and we’ll contact you.

As always, we will continue to offer a suite of term and universal life insurance, dental and vision plans along with employer group and individual family health insurance and health savings accounts. Our business has continued to prosper and grow since inception and we have many new agents on our team to assist you.

Don’t forget. we are a member of the Greater Houston Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating and have never had a single complaint in all of our 14 years! We think that’s a pretty solid track record and would love the chance to prove it.
